Your applications arrive already ranked
Every job published on Takumiz has its own test: about ten questions built from your job description, 10 seconds each. When you open the list, applications are sorted by score, CV alongside.
You read the strongest applications first. Whom to meet is always your call.

From job description to published test
-
Paste your job description
The model installed on our servers extracts the skills and proposes at least three times as many questions as the test needs. You can also write your own questions, start from sample questions for your trade, or publish the job without a test.
-
Review each question
Accept, fix or discard. A filter flags the ones a simple search can answer or that allow two answers. No question is asked without your approval.
-
Share the job's address
On LinkedIn, on your careers page, by email. Each candidate gets a different draw, with different values: an answer shared on a forum is useless.

Why 10 seconds per question
Ten seconds are enough for someone who knows the subject to read an invoice, a log line or a schedule and find the answer. They are not enough to look it up elsewhere. The test measures what the candidate can read and do, not what they have memorised.
The timer is set per job, up to 60 seconds when the role does not call for speed. A candidate can ask for extra time without proof; you do not see this choice.
What Takumiz does not do
- It rejects no one. No threshold, no automatic rejection. The decision remains yours, as the GDPR requires.
- It does not replace the interview. The score tells you where to start, not whom to hire.
- It films no one. No webcam, no screen monitoring. Cheating remains possible; the format of the questions makes it slow.
- It does not replace your recruitment software. No pipeline, no calendar: Takumiz gives you the sorted list and a way to answer each candidate, then you carry on with your own tools. Your existing jobs can be imported from your ATS.
Questions we get asked
- Won't candidates run away from a test?
- Ten questions take less than two minutes. Before applying, candidates know how many questions await them, how long they last and what you will see about them. For each job, you see how many candidates finished the test.
- My role is not technical at all. Does it still work?
- The questions have candidates read a document from the trade: a delivery note, a schedule, an invoice, a contract excerpt, a till report. If the role does not lend itself to this, publish the job without a test: applications are then ranked by date.
- I hire internationally. Is the test available in other languages?
- Each job has its own language: generated questions and sample questions follow the language you choose, and each candidate sees the interface in their own. Eleven languages are available, including English, German, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese and Japanese.
- Where is candidate data stored?
- On a server we run ourselves, in the European Union. Even the model that prepares the questions runs on our premises, and it never sees candidate data. Only the optional identity verification goes through a specialised provider, which sends us nothing but the result. Applications and CVs are deleted 6 months after the job closes.
- What does the candidate see of their result?
- Their score, 24 hours after the test ends, and the exact list of what you see about them. No question-by-question breakdown.
- How long does it take to publish a job with a test?
- The time to paste the job description and review the proposed questions. Allow a few minutes for generation, then a review; you can publish once enough questions are accepted.
